On February 1, we thank Brother Jake Taoi for sharing a message with the congregation. His willingness to serve and his faithful handling of God’s Word brought encouragement to many and prompted more believers to reflect on and participate in ministry.Below is a summary of the message, titled “Love Endures.”
Love is the Foundation: Without love, every other spiritual gift or sacrifice is essentially meaningless.
Faith is a Marathon: Living for Christ requires the same grit and self-discipline as an elite long-distance runner.
Love is a Covenant: Biblical love (Hesed) is an unbreakable, loyal commitment rather than a fleeting emotion.
Judgment and Mercy Coexist: Even in difficult passages, God’s actions are rooted in His long-term devotion to His people.
Discipline is Protection: God corrects us like a loving parent to keep us from self-destruction.
Human Examples Inspire: Characters like Ruth and Hosea show us how to model loyalty in our own relationships.
A Unified Story: The entire Bible—from Eden to Revelation—is a single narrative of God’s persistent love.
Jesus is the Peak: Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is the ultimate, historical proof of enduring love.
Fill Your Well First: We can only love others effectively when we are daily drawing from God’s love.
Practice Makes Permanent: Real love is applied through daily prayer, humility, and sacrificial service to family.
